Question by John D: Had sex 2 days before girlfriend's period. Can sperm live, fertilize an egg, and stop the period?

I had sex 2 days before my girlfriend's period. She had her period 2 days after we had sex. I didn't finish inside of her. Could a sperm live in her, fertilize an egg, and stop the period?

If she got her period, she is not pregnant. Sperm can live for some time , I think as long as 24 hours. But if she got her period, she is most likely not pregnant. But as I tell anyone who asks pregnancy questions on here, when in doubt, take a test.
